"Aunt Bean"
Growing up as a little girl, my older brother, Michael, would call me Beaney from the cartoon show Beaney & Cecil. The name stuck, and then, after he had children of his own, I became Aunt Bean. Now, after 40+ years, over 30 nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nephews, I am still affectionately referred to as Aunt Bean.
My love of popcorn started when I was a child, and anyone who knows me well knows that it is my Achilles Heel. I LOVE popcorn and can remember my mother making it on Friday nights in a kettle on the stove while we watched the Dukes of Hazard. My affection for the fluffy stuff continues today, and I am happy to now be able to share my addiction.
